About WADA

The World Anti-Doping Agency was founded with the aim of bringing consistency to anti-doping policies and regulations within sport organizations and governments right across the world.

It is WADA's mission to lead a collaborative worldwide movement for doping-free sport. Its key activities include scientific research, education, development of anti-doping capacities, and monitoring of the World Anti Doping Code – the document harmonizing anti-doping policies in all sports and all countries.

WADA Foundation Board

This is WADA's supreme decision making board. It is composed equally of representatives from the Olympic Movement and governments.

Kirsty is one of the 38 members through her representation as an IOC member.  

WADA Athlete's Committee

The athletes committee is a representative body of past and present athletes from around the world. We serve as the voice of the clean athlete, encouraging integrity and fairness for sport and athletes.

As a member of this committee, Kirsty's responsibilities include education and athlete outreach programs. It the athlete committee's responsibility to interact with other athletes to provide information and feedback to the WADA executive board.
