Minister of Youth, Sport, Art and Recreation

Kirsty was appointed as Minister of Youth, Sport, Art and Recreation by the President of Zimbabwe in September 2018, four days after she found out she was pregnant with her first child.

As an independent person who has never before been involved with politics, it came as a surprise but an enormous honour to serve. Kirsty has always been an extremely patriotic woman and despite the challenges in Zimbabwe she accepted the position to help rebuild her wonderful country.

At only 36 years old, Kirsty has a vast breadth of experience in Sports Administration, she is passionate about Art and Artists and has always spent her time helping others. As an ex-athlete she strives for excellence and obtaining results. Her philosophy is embedded in the power of a good team that is accountable and transparent.
